Teatro Argentino de La Plata

The Teatro Argentino de La Plata is an artistic theater contains one of the most prominent opera houses in Argentina. It is located in the block bounded by 9 and 10 streets and avenues 51 and 53 of the city of La Plata, capital of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.


In 1977, while practicing ballet, a suspicious fire (always said thatwas intentional) destroyed a small part of the facilities and without affecting the structure of the building. Hardly consumed a smaller portion of its roof.


New building, new architecture

Finally, almost two decades later, on October 12, 1999 was inaugurated the opera with the ballet room in gray TangoArgentine choreographer Oscar Araiz and music teacher and Atilio Stampone, in the supplement was introduced, a concertopera in which fragments were performed operas of composers Giuseppe Verdi, Charles Gounod, Umberto Giordano, Gaetano Donizetti.

Centro Cultural Pasaje Dardo Rocha

Passage Dardo Rocha, is located in the center of the city of La Plata, capital of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Moreprecisely in the street block bounded by 49 and 50, 6 and 7, whose main entrance is in front of the Plaza San Martin. This building is one of the most beautiful time of the founding of that city. It has cinemas, theaters and halls of audience. In the winter usually attends many people to enjoy works by children and adults.

Catedral de La Plata


The Metropolitan Cathedral  "Immaculate Conception"is the main Catholic church in the city of La Plata, and one of the largest in Latin America. It is located between Calle 14 and 15 and between 51 and 53 Avenuesopposite the Plaza Moreno. It is considered one of the ten most important cathedrals in the world

The government building is known as the Municipal Palace, located between the streets 51, 53, 11 and 12, in the center of town, is separated from the cathedral across the square Moreno

Culture and Education.

The city possesses a good quantity of educational institutions of the different levels, both public and private. The most recognized public colleges are three of four belonging ones to the UNLP: the National College Rafael Hernández, the Lyceum Víctor Mercante and the Baccalaureate of Fine arts.
 The culture has a great paper in the city of La Plata. This is reflected in the good quantity of cultural centers, theatres, museums, cinemas and libraries that are situated in the city, besides the National University of La Plata and the astronomic observatory.

Estadio Unico


The Estadio Ciudad de La Plata is located in the district of Tolosa in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires province, Argentina. Also known popularly as the former name of Estadio Unico.




Partially opened June 7, 2003, and completed the planned workson February 17, 2011, the Estadio Ciudad de La Plata is one ofthe most modern in Latin America. Play local condition Estudiantes de La Plata.
Currently they have concerts. The last were the Guns n Roses and Aerosmith, in 2011.

The most important places of the city
La Plata is the capital of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The city was planned to serve as the capital of the province after the city of Buenos Aires was declared a Federal District in 1880. The city has a population of 186,527 inhabitants and its urban area, the Gran La Plata, the party composed of the same name, Ensenada and Berisso, 694,253 inhabitants. La Plata was officially founded by Governor Dardo Rocha on 19 noviembre de 1882 and its construction was fully documented in photographsby Thomas Bradley.5 Between 1952 and 1955, this planned cities renowned for its design, a perfect square with the "Historicalaxis' preserved intact to the present, as well as outstanding design that cross diagonals forming diamonds within its boundary, woods and squares placed exactly every six blocks.
